Tom Plumptre ‘Barbican’

This film displays people within the architecture of the Barbican Centre in London. I looked to find decisive and unusual moments in reality, within an architecturally unorthodox environment. As with most of my work, I explored the relationship between stillness and motion and aimed to capture decisive moments.

I was born in Canterbury, South East England in 1991. I went to university at Oxford Brookes, where I studied Fine Art. I concentrate on capturing architecture and the people within it. I aim to observe how the space and certain individuals effects others.
