Synopsis:
"Bodies in Trouble" is an intensely personal questioning of the impersonal eye of cinematic technology and human embodiment. It explores the ways the electric light of cinema, of the CT scanner or the endoscope had penetrated, violated, augmented and altered our bodies in ways never before imagined. A series of poetic permutations of archival pornographic and medical images spanning decades of technological development, interlaced with a personal tale of love and pain, explores the clashes, explosions and fusions of imaging technologies, light and flesh.
